Fuzzy Finder is a general-purpose algorithm designed to match sets of data, even when the data has large differences in spelling or word-order. Fuzzy Finder’s abilities lend themselves well towards matching transliterated data, such as foreign name lists that have been translated into English.

The following demo features a data set consisting of names that have been translated into English. Despite the wide variety of translation styles present in the data, users can enter a name in English and find all relevant matches in the data set that are similar.
